I enjoyed this!

Have you ever heard the Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson version of bloodshot eyes?

Actually I think a couple of blues shouters did this tune.

Who wrote it?

Bloodshot Eyes was written by Hank Penny and Ruth Hall. The most popular version is (Don't Roll Those) Bloodshot Eyes (At Me) by Wyonnie Harris (1951, King 4461). A lot of King R&B hits were originally recorded as hillbilly numbers.

King records rule!

Bob Dylan played quite a few King records on his show and also many from Duke records (named to compete with King).

I've got a great jump blues version of that song by Wynonie Harris also on King.
