Ernesto Ramírez: Urban Archeology and Close to Heaven
Ernesto Ramírez: Urban Archeology and Close to Heaven at Zone Zero. "...Both works explore the tracks and nooks of Mexico City. Urban Archeology examines the ruins and the city waste to document how these remains, on the one hand, contain an aesthetic of the epoch and also how the great urban concentrations promote the culture of waste. Close to heaven is a visit to the urban rooftops, trying to explain how these spaces have become an extension of the house; these territories are the destination of all that nostalgic trash of what we once were."
